Brief Description

The second workshop on chemicals and waste statistics was held at the Centre for Information and Documentation on the Environment (CIDE) of Yaoundé on the 17th and 18th of June 2019, hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED) of Cameroon. The objective of this second workshop was to review and validate the National Data Report produced by the national consultant hired by the MINEPDED, Prof. Emmanuel Ngnikam, since the first workshop in November 2018. The Report was presented in detail by Prof. Ngnikam, extensive feedback was received from participants representing sectoral administrations and ministries, and a final version of the report was prepared and delivered to the MINEPDED and UNEP shortly afterwards.
